Roses are the most beautiful and most popular flowers. There are many varieties available worldwide. Roses also bloom in Bangladesh, mostly during the winter season. The Birulia village of Savar is famous for rose production. The village in now known as 'golap gram' which means 'rose village' due to the flowers. Many people visit the village to enjoy the beauty of the rose gardens. They take photographs. This is a good source of income for the villagers.
